MarjorieSMETHURSTFormerly of Swinton and Worsley, passed away surrounded by family at her Son's home in Cambridge, on 16th January 2025, aged 86 years, having survived beloved husband Alex by 10 months. A dearly loved mother to Peter and Alexis and cherished mother-in-law to Heather and Peter, Marjorie was a lovely, funny Nana to Sam, Amy, Rosie and Olivia.
Many will remember Marjorie as a beloved Piano teacher arranging Christmas concerts for pupils, or as an active member of St Mark's Church in Worsley, being choir member and co-founder of youth, music and social groups.
