As a foreign student, he welcomed me friendly both at work and at home. I remember these nights spent to discuss various topics and the ways of thinking between french and english people. I'm very sad today as I did not know he passed away

Every summer you would help my dad haymaking, late into the night and then a pint at the Rock Pub in Brockholes. Lovely memories. Jane (Jubb)
