Adam was one most freindly and kindest people I've ever known. Always sincere and genuine, having a wry but gentle sense of humour, never judgmental, always open and honest, he was really a wonderful person to know and be around, I will miss him.

There are few people in life who are wholely genuine and true but Adam Smith was certainly one. When I met him nearly twenty years ago, as the young relatively shy girlfriend of his best mate I marvelled at how this really smart, good looking and so very very cool guy could also be so modest and gracious and have such a warmth about him - and over the years he never changed - that was Adam - always himself and always just lovely - and great fun too of course - that giggle!
An honest man with an honest heart - a true gentleman with the ability to make you feel comfortable in your own skin - never judging - accepting!
Adam, it was my pleasure to have had you in my life and I know Adriaan holds you most deeply in his heart - we will miss you but we will remember you and continue to talk about you and the great times we had, so you remain in our lives forever. RIP
