Jillian 'Jill'SMITHSMITH Jillian 'Jill' nee Timmins 16.7.1944 - 10.4.2019 Passed away peacefully, on the 10th April 2019, as a result of Alzheimer's disease, with her family by her side and whilst in the care of the lovely staff at Haddon House Care Home in Ilkeston. Jill resided in Spondon, for the majority of her life. Treasured Wife to Brian, adored Mum to Angela, Geoff and the late Rod. Grandma to Sarah, Mamar to Joseph and Olivia and a very much loved "Big Grandma" to Amelia. Sister to the late Joyce and adored Auntie to Lindsay. Dear Mother in law to Martin. Jill worked as a Staff Nurse at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary prior to her retirement, after which she spent many happy years with her pony Fella and her friends at Elvaston Castle. Sadly, the last few years were taken away from Jill by Alzheimer's disease, which changed her life for ever. Funeral 1st May 2019 at 11.00am in the Round Chapel at Markeaton Crematorium.
