Still hard to believe you're not here mom.
If I’ve had a bad day at work I’d call you!
Someone hurt my feelings I’d call you!
Someone’s made me mad, I’d call you!
The kids are sick, I’d call you!
I can’t remember how to cook something, I’d call you!
Got some good gossip, I’d call you!
Get in the car & can’t stand to be alone with my own thoughts, I’d call you!
Love you mom

God saw you getting weary
He did what he thought best
He put his arms around you
And whispered come to rest

Miss and love you mom xxxx

I have so many fond childhood memories of spending school holidays in and around your home. Picking fruits in the garden and eating rhubarb canes dipped in sugar, playing on the front yard and not going home until dark.

I’ll never forget my 16th birthday presents of a ‘bottom draw’ with tea towels and ketchup holders. I smile every time I remember opening that gift :). So wonderfully thoughtful looking back.

You were always such a matriarch in the family too, that I could always depend on to be a good listener and give honest and direct advice.

I will miss being able to visit you.

Rest in peace Nan, enjoy your well deserved time with Jesus and the angels.
