Miriam EvelynSMITHIt is with great sadness that we announce the sad death of Mrs Miriam Smith, late of Ashby, who died in Scunthorpe General Hospital on 4th July 2022 aged 95 years. Re-united with her beloved husband George, loving mother of Graham, mother in law of Joan, beloved grandma of Matthew & Helen and Mark & Rithy, loving Granny Meg of Owen and Lucas. Miriam was a good and well respected friend to all who knew her. Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe at 2pm on Wednesday 27th July 2022 for service and committal. Family flowers only please, but donations in her memory will be collected for Lindsey Lodge Hospice and can be left after the service or sent c/o J Naylor Funeral Directors Comforts Avenue Scunthorpe DN15 6PN -

Being friends with Miriam has been a pleasure. Words to describe her, strong intelligent and interesting. A lady who knew her own mind, which was to be admired. RIP Miriam you will be missed but always remembered. Love Ruth ❤️
