Alec MartinSMITH(Mechanical Fitter on his Mother's side) Alec slipped away quietly during the early hours of Sunday 21st August 2022, aged 81 years, whilst in the care of Hull Royal Infirmary. A much loved husband of Angela. A proud and loving father of Martin, Mandy, Timothy, Amie, Danny and Ben. A loving father in law and a cherished grandad and great grandad. Alec was a loving brother to Yvonne and a dear brother in law and uncle. Alec was a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to Wendy and the Community nurses for the care given to Alec. A funeral service to celebrate Alec's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 13th September at 2.15pm. By request family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, those who knew Alec are requested to carry out a good deed for others, as Alec had done for many, in his memory. There will be a further celebration of Alec's life at The County Hotel, Immingham.
