John RolandSMITHWe are sad to announce the very sudden passing of John aged 88.
At home on 25th July John unfortunately suffered a massive heart attack.
He leaves behind his loving wife Pat, to whom he was devoted for 64 years, his children, Suzanne, Rose, John, Jeff and Tricia, their spouses, all of his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends.
He bequeathed his body to medical science and we are proud to say that we have been able to fulfil that wish. There will be no funeral, as was his request, but we will hold a celebration of his life at Carr Lane Social Club on 30th August between 3pm and 7pm and would like to invite you to join us and share memories with us if you were connected with him in any way.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in John's memory to LIVES. via their website or on the day at the celebration of his life.
