Uno referee, crossword champion, and without a doubt, the coolest aunty strutting in platform sandals. These are just a few of the titles that come to mind when I think about you, Aunty Sandra. You embodied a spirit of adventure, always eager to try anything at least once, and in doing so, you built a legacy that stretches far beyond just your family. Everyone fortunate enough to know you felt the impact of your warmth and generosity. Your kindness was unmatched, your wicked sense of humor brought joy to even the dullest moments, and your ability to light up a room with nothing more than your radiant smile is something I will never forget. And of course, I will never in my life again forget the word "betelnut," forever tied to one of your unforgettable crossword puzzle victories I was lucky enough to be a part of. Whether it was through a quick laugh, a thoughtful word, or a simple gesture, you touched the hearts of everyone you encountered. Your memory will continue to live on, not just in our stories, but in the laughter and light you brought into the world. - Sarah

Our Aunt had smiles to brighten your days. Who always had words of praise and encouragement to make you feel good. And always knew what to do to make wishes come true. I will always cherish the memories of laughter and love you gave to whomever crossed your path. Sleep well our Aunty, until we meet again. - Elizabeth

It is a once in a lifetime blessing to have met someone like Aunty Sandra. Despite not being around her much due to distance, whenever I did see her, I was reminded that she is who I want to be when I grow up. A fierce little lady with an incredible sense of humour. The love and warmth felt by Aunty Sandra's presence will remain as we know she is watching over us from the heavens above. I am immensely grateful to have known Aunty Sandra, and I find peace in the fact that she is at peace. Her legacy will be carried down through generations. - Hannah

Words alone cannot describe the void in in my heart and the sadness I feel. Aunty Sandra was a remarkable loving Aunty. I have such fond memories of all her visits to South Africa, she had so much love to give. Everyone that met Aunty Sandra could not help but love her. I am very proud to be her niece. My Dad, Joseph, Aunty Sandra's brother had such a special bond with his sister. He is going to miss her terribly. Rest in peace Aunty Sandra with Uncle Ray and Uncle Cecil. Aunty Sandra's legacy lives on in her precious daughter Angie. Xxx

Dear Aunty Sandra, only fond memories come to me when you are in my thoughts. It is difficult to accept that you are no longer with us however I am also relieved that you are no longer suffering. As we will all miss you forever I can take solace in the fact you are now sitting comfortably next to Uncle Cyril. You were truly an exceptional sibling, wife , mother , grandmother, Great grandmother , Aunt and a friend to many. Your sense of humour will forever live on. You will forever be missed by many people but never forgotten. Love Gary
