It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Melitta Smith, who departed this life peacefully on 9th June 2025 at the age of 98.
She leaves behind a devoted son, two beloved grandchildren, and three cherished great grandchildren - each a testament to the love and guidance she offered so freely throughout her life. Her legacy lives on not only in them, but in every life she touched with her warmth, humility, and gentle presence.
Melitta's family invites all who knew and loved her to a service in her honour, to be held at Hawkinge Crematorium on 27th June 2025 at 15:30. We welcome you to join us in celebrating a life so beautifully lived and so deeply missed.
Forever in our hearts, Melitta will be remembered as a beacon of love, family, and enduring grace.
