JeanSMITHWith heavy hearts, the family of Jean announce her passing on April 16, 2026, at the age of 83.
Jean left this world peacefully at her home in Swansea, surrounded by the love of those she cherished
throughout her life. Born in 1942 to the late Ivor and Janet (Jenny) Williams, Jean dedicated her life to her family.
In 1964, she married her husband, Roy, and together they shared over six decades of love and companionship.
They created a warm and loving home to raise their two daughters and two sons, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Jean will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her family. She held a special place in her heart for her husband Roy, daughters Deborah and Joanne, sons Michael, Kevin and the late baby Stephen, sons-in-law Paul and James, daughter in-law Linda, and her grandchildren: Michael, Heather, Mitchell, Ryan, Morgan, Jake, Ashton, Ellis, and Callum. She is also fondly remembered by her sisters, Valerie and the late Dorothy, as well as her nieces and nephews.

The family invites all who knew and loved Jean to gather in celebration of her life
and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Ty Hedd Funeral Home 10.45 a.m.
Followed by Interment at
Morriston Cemetery 11.45 a.m. (new section)

Family flowers only, please; however, for those who wish to honour her memory further, donations can be made in lieu of flowers to pulmonaryfibrosistrust.org/
