Thank you for making the service available online. It was lovely, funny and heartfelt, and it captured Ceris' essence perfectly.

I have fond memories of visiting you, and always feeling so warmly welcomed. The drives around the countryside stopping in pubs to try out ciders, afternoons spent relaxing in your gorgeous garden, and evenings enjoyed tasting Ceris’ wonderful meals and sitting in the hot tub… each moment will be cherished.

One thought that has brought me comfort these past few days is imagining my mom there to welcome Ceris with a big hug for her "sister," and then the two of them waiting together to greet Eyrl.

I'm thinking of all of you during this difficult time. Ceris will be deeply missed, and I hope the many wonderful memories you shared bring you peace in the days ahead.

I was incredibly sad to hear the news about Ceris. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Ian and Ceris in both Wales and Colorado, and will always remember her beautiful smile that lit up her whole face.

Whenever I have boiled or roasted potatoes, I think of Ceris and the delicious meals she prepared for us when we visited. I also smile when I remember her and my mom giggling together over a wine spritzer.

Ceris helped make our wedding day special, and although she didn't have the chance to meet Nathan, I've never forgotten how much time and care she and Ian put into his Flat Stanley project, taking the little cardboard Stanley all over Wales and sending pictures and pamphlets that made it without a doubt the best project in his class.

Sending lots of love to Ian, Stuart, Ceri and family.

Dear Ian,

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of your sweet wife, Ceris. We have such wonderful memories of the time we spent together when we visited you and your family in Wales, and later when you both came to Colorado with Nana. We all enjoyed such a lovely visit with Malcolm, Rita, and the rest of the family.

One memory that has always stayed with me and my Mom is Ceris singing “Happy Birthday” in Welsh to Dillon on his eighth birthday. It was such a special and joyful moment!

Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We send you our deepest condolences and hope that the many wonderful memories you shared with Ceris bring you comfort in the days ahead.

With love and sympathy,

Colleen & Jean
