PeterSMITHPassed away suddenly on Wednesday 29th July 2026 at Scunthorpe General Hospital with close family and his good friend Muriel by his side, aged 91 years.

Loving widower of Rena, treasured father of Maureen & husband Colin, Ian & partner Tracey. A very special grandfather to Nadia, Aden & Holly and a very loving great grandfather, step grandparent, uncle and a good friend to so many.

Funeral service will take place at St. Peter's Church, Scotter on Tuesday 1st September at 11.00am, followed by a short interment at Scotter Cemetery.

Refreshments afterwards at The Sun & Anchor, Scotter, where the family would love to share stories of such a kind, loving and respected local character and a friend to so many.

Family flowers only please. Donations in Peter's memory are for Lindsey Lodge Hospice who have supported the family with such wonderful care and Scotter Heritage Centre where dad shared 91 years of local history.
