He leaves behind his wife Margaret, children Julie and Karen, his grandchildren and was affectionately known as "grandad ponytail" to his great grandchildren.

A true legend who loved his family, flash cars, bikes, trains and antique clocks.

He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and colleagues.
