Walter and I became friends in 1968 when I moved to West Lothian and he has been my lawyer ever since
He did all the legal work when I bought my company in Fife in 1983 and I was delighted to see him run rings around the London lawyers who were representing the sellers
I could see that Walter was enjoying it too!!
We worked together as Elders in St David’s Church Bathgate and he was an enthusiastic hard working individual who helped so many people who came in contact with him
He will be sorely missed

I got to know Walter in 1968 when I came to live in West Lothian and he has been my lawyer ever since
When I bought my company in Fife in 1983 it was Walter who did all the legal work
I delighted in seeing him run rings around the London lawyers who were representing the sellers
The transactions were in Scots Law and I could see that Walter was having great fun toying with the London lawyers
We also worked together as elders of St David’s Church Bathgate and as part of the vacancy committee when our minister Rev Sandy McDonald left to go to St Marks Oldhall in Paisley
Walter was a tireless enthusiast who freely gave his help and advice to a wide range of people and he will be sorely missed
RIP Walter

Walter was our family lawyer and friend. Always loved his stories whenever we went to his office. He will be sadly missed by all his friends, family, and clients.
