SimonSNOOKIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Simon, who passed away peacefully on 23rd October 2025, aged 56 years, following a long and courageous battle.
A proud and devoted dad to Kelsey and James, loving partner to Sarah, and a much-loved brother to Ayesha, Fred, Sid, Eammon, Russel, Robert, Wayne, Martin, and the late Julie, and a cherished brother-in-law and uncle to all their families.
Simon was a true gentleman, known for his kindness, warmth, and wonderful sense of humour. A passionate pigeon racer, he found great joy and friendship in the sport and will be fondly remembered within the racing community and by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Simon's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 14th November at 2.15pm. We ask for people to wear black or blue, blue was dad's favourite colour.
All flowers will be gratefully received c/o the Funeral Director, or if desired, donations in Simon's memory may be made to Macmillan Cancer Support or St Andrew's Hospice.
All enquiries to Kettle Funeralcare, 135 Granville Street, Grimsby, DN32 9PB.

Deepest Sympathy to Simon's Children Sarah and family.
Simon was very kind and caring and always full of laughter when we worked together. I know he battled to the very end and just shows how courageous he was. Miss you always Simon.
Rest in peace 🙏
