AlanSOWERBYOn 28th January 2024, suddenly but peacefully at Calderdale Royal Hospital, after a good life well lived, surrounded by his family, Alan aged 86 years of Brighouse. The much loved husband of the late Pauline (nee Hanson), adored dad of Gillian and the late Alison, father in law of Chris R, much loved by Ollie and Anna, Josh, Ellie and Dale, a devoted great grandad of Zak, a loved brother of Ann and the late Joan, Bob and John and a very good friend to many.

Funeral service at Huddersfield Crematorium on Friday 1st March at 11.15 am. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished may be given for Kirkwood Hospice c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service, The Lindens, New Road, Kirkheaton, Huddersfield, HD5 0JB or online at radcliffefuneralservice.co.uk - obituaries. A donation box will be available at the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Crematorium.

Going to miss you Alan as I’m sure all the customers of the Market Tavern will . We had many interesting conversations together especially when we both forgot our hearing aids . R.I.P my friend .
