IreneSPALDING(née WILLIAMS) Irene sadly passed away on the 22nd June 2022 aged 98 at home and is now at peace. Irene was the beloved wife of the late William H Matthews and later of the late Frederick Spalding and loving mother of sons Stephen, Tudor and Jeffrey and their partners. She was a much loved and treasured nanny to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irene was a loving sister to her late brother Ron and her sister in law Joan. She will be remembered as a lovely aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Irene will be greatly missed by all her family and her many friends including those from the School Meals Service, the St Helens Priory Womens Bowls Club and Castleton Chapel. Please dress with a dash of colour in memory of Irene. Funeral service at Swansea Crematorium on Wednesday 13th July at 2pm. The family invite you to join them at The Eagle Inn, Treboeth after the service.
