Kathleen AnnSPEAKKathleen died suddenly and unexpectedly at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Sunday, January 15. Only daughter of the late Fred and Elsie Heyworth, she battled with failing health for a number of years. Kathleen worked as a staff supervisor at Woolworths in Rawtenstall. In her younger life she enjoyed ballroom dancing, going on to qualify as a dance teacher. She loved looking after her budgies of which she had many over the years. She leaves a number of cousins and many friends from throughout the country. Her funeral will take place at St James the Less Catholic Church in Rawtenstall on Tuesday, February 7 at 11.00am. This will be followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery. Donations to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary.
