PeterSPOKES(Marden Estate & Whitley Bay) Devastatingly passed away at 05:45am on Wednesday 20th May 2026, aged 69.

A devoted husband to Julie, a proud dad to Jasmine and Brady, Joanne and Richie, a loyal brother to David and a great friend to many. Peter was a genuine, fun loving and selfless man who'd do anything for anyone. He will be missed enormously by all who knew him. Peter's generosity and humour will never be forgotten and although he is gone, the memories will last forever.

To give Spooksy the send off he deserves, please meet at Tynemouth Crematorium at 12 noon on Friday 19th June and after the service to The Ship, Monkseaton. Donations in lieu of flowers for a memorial bench at Pete's favourite place; North Shields Fish Quay and any extra will go to Lake District Foundation.

We have only known Pete for a couple of years, but in that time we found him to be a kind, funny guy who showed a real love for his family and a desire to live life to the full. Rest in peace, Pete!

I was introduced to Peter about 17 or 18 years ago by his neighbour, and my big mate Jimmy. It was always a pleasure to have him in our company with his happy demeanor. I will remember Peter fondly, I believe he would have made an impression on all.
RIP Bonnie Lad
