Valerie AnnSPOONERDied peacefully at the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff on 25th February 2022 aged 90. Daughter of the late Frank and Queenie Spooner of Seaford Sussex. Orthoptist, formerly in Aberdeen, Eastbourne, Montreal and London. Appointed Head of the Welsh School of Orthoptics, Cardiff until retirement in 1992. Throughout her life was very active in following her Christian faith and enjoyed travelling. Funeral at St Marks North Road, Cardiff CF14 3BL at 10.45am, followed by committal service at Thornhill crematorium in the Briwnant Chapel on Friday 25 March (ladies no black please.)
