DerekSPRATTOur inspiration, our crusader, our world. Derek was taken on 6th December 2013, aged 72 surrounded by his family having battled many illnesses during the last 5 years. A loving and totally devoted husband to Sandie, idolised and cherished by his two children Alexandra and Bradley, spirited and entertaining grampy to Sky, Willow and Harrison, best 'bruv' to Tony and best walker to his 4 legged friend, Bambi. Previously, Pool Manager at Torridge and South Molton Pools, and swimming coach to many. In your heart was love and understanding, in your voice we heard wisdom and praise, in your eyes we saw kindness and caring, this will be with us always. Our love and admiration for you is eternal, the special years will not return when we were all together, but with the love within our hearts, you will walk with us forever. The funeral service will be held at North Devon Crematorium on Thursday 19th December 2013 at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory are to be divided between North Devon Hospice and local swimming clubs.
