RolandSPRINGALLIt is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Roland who passed away suddenly at the Royal Derby Hospital, on 30th April 2026, aged 85 years.
A devoted and loving husband of the late Jackie, who sadly passed away just four months ago. A much loved and cherished dad to Tracey, respected father-in-law to Richard. Treasured grandad to Liam and Kimberley, and a proud grandad-in-law to Sam. Dear brother of the late Jean and a dearly loved uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle.
Roland will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and the love he had for his family, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The funeral service will take place at Markeaton Crematorium (Round Chapel) on Wednesday 10th June at 11:30am.
Flowers are welcome, or if preferred, donations in memory of Roland may be made to Sam's Superheroes online or via the donation box available on the day.
