MartinSPRUCE(Bamburgh), peacefully at home on Thursday 13th October 2022, Martin aged 70 years. Beloved husband to Julie, loving dad of Sarah, Dan and Rosalyn, father-in-law to David, John and Jesu. Funeral Service to be held, at St Paul's Church, North Sunderland, on Saturday 22nd October at 11am, followed by a private burial in South Lane Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Macmillan Nurses and North Sunderland Football Club, c/o Alan D Haile Funeral Services, 5 James Street, Seahouses, Northumberland, NE68 7XZ. Tel: 01665 720258. Family and friends please meet at the church.

I can't tell you how sad we are to learn that Martin has passed. He was one of the good guys, always so positive and full of energy. I knew him first many years ago, when I kept a pony at Beadnell. Always such great fun with "us kids", and a heart of gold. He never seemed to change - always full of banter and good humour. His work as a First Responder a testament to his kind and generous nature. He will be hugely missed in the village and further afield.
