A privilege to have known you John … you spoke at our golf day at Blackley Golf Club arranged by Ian brazier .. you were a great success as an after dinner speaker and as straight as a die in your police career God bless you

Sincere sympathies to the Stalker family from Dublin. The late John Stalker has been held in the highest esteem for over 3 decades throughout the island of Ireland. At a time of great difficulty in our history his name was a byword for justice without fear or favour. Had the high policing standards he espoused been the norm in Northern Ireland peace would have come many years sooner. May this great man Rest In Peace.

It was a privilege to have known and worked with John. Everyone who knew this man, recognised his professionalism and his integrity. The sad loss to G M P and policing in general will be felt.
