Happy 90th birthday, Mum. Another birthday without you here to celebrate.

George hopes you like the flowers he chose for you (I told him that you would love them). He’s such a kindhearted boy, I tell him all the time that if Nana was here, she would spoil you rotten. He has such tenacity, tries so hard, and makes me laugh every single day.

Caitlin is just… Caitlin. Hard working, kind. The little girl you knew and loved has grown into a wonderful young lady.

We talk about you all the time; the wonderful, kind, caring, loving Mum and Nana you were and still are in our hearts.

We love and miss you. Always and forever.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mum.

Hard to believe this is the tenth Mother’s Day without you. It still doesn’t feel right, celebrating with my children but without you here.

I remember all those years ago, and you and Dad were away for Mother’s Day and when you came home I made you promise never to never be away for another one because it broke my heart you not being here. And you kept that promise until you had to leave us forever.

My memories of you are some of my most precious. I love and miss you so very much.
