ArthurSTANLEYMy friend Arthur died peacefully in Salford Royal Hospital on Tuesday 27th August, he was 100 years and 4 months on this earth. He had a long and productive life with many interests, including fishing and his allotment. He had a much loved brother, Alf Stanley who he missed immensely. He was lucky enough to live on a friendly cul-de-sac in Urmston where many of his neighbours had known him for 40 odd years. I joined that group of friends in 1999 with our shared interest in plants and allotments. Funeral will take place at Agecroft cemetery, Langley Road M27 8SS at 11am on Wednesday 2nd October.
