Carol AnnSTANLEY(née Wright) Passed away at home, in the arms of her family on Saturday 23rd March 2024, aged 78 years. Much loved wife of Barry, cherished mum of Lynda and Michelle, nan to Grant, Abby, Shannon and Christian and big nanna to Hallie, Sienna and George. Mother in law to Kevin and Bernard and a loved and respected sister, sister in law and aunt. Funeral service to be held at St Peter's Church, Chellaston on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 10.00am followed by the interment at Nottingham Road Cemetery. The family would like to thank all staff on wards 409, 403 and the High Dependency Unit, the fantastic ladies from CareLink's, the nurses from Treetops Hospice and Marie Curie who provided night-time support, and the district nurse team, especially Sam, for their care of Carol and their guidance and support for her family. Donations are invited for Treetops Hospice Care. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
