The obituary notice of Edward Lee STARK

Eddie, my friend for almost 40 years. We met when we worked together for Midland Bank in Newcastle in the mid 80’s We played golf together, and watched Test Match cricket together for years at Headingley. Sadly, Covid lock down prevented my visits to his final care home in Newcastle so we were limited to brief talks on our mobile phones and an exchange of cards at Christmas. Eddie was known and loved by my wife Hilary and our son Jamie as a regular, welcome visitor to Yorkshire and we do, and will always miss him. God bless you Eddie

In loving memory of my father's cousin - Edward Lee Stark. He was a warm and kindhearted man, and will be sadly missed.

It has been a privilege to have Edward, a good friend, in our lives. Mike and he met in early childhood, went to school together, played cricket and football together and we have shared many special memories with him. He was best man to Mike and I, was Mandy's Godfather and was a welcome visitor. The most considerate houseguest ever. He will be fondly remembered.

Some people are born family while others are chosen. Uncle Edward was always an important part of our extended family and we treasured his visits. He will certainly be missed.
