Adam James Pidge Cpl Adam James Pidge StartupSTARTUP LSTARTUP Adam James Pidge L/Cpl Adam James 'Pidge' Startup, passed away on Sunday, 7th July 2013 in Torbay, aged 29 years. The funeral service will be held at St Augustine's Church, Heanton Punchardon on Thursday 18th July 2013 at 12 noon. W S Gayton & Son funeral directors are handling arrangements and Reverend Iain Robertson and Major Andrew Latifa will be officiating. The wake will follow at the Sergeants' Mess, Royal Marines Base Chivenor. The family wish to extend their gratitude to the Royal Marsden for all the treatment Adam received during his battle with cancer and Torbay Hospital for making Adam's final moments as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to JJ's Memorial Fund, an organisation dedicated to helping injured paratroopers and supporting the families of paratroopers killed in action.
