DevonSTEELJames A precious Son to his devoted parents Luke and Jaclyn. Devon passed away in their loving arms on October 30th, 2015 at Acorns Children Hospice in Selly Oak, aged 5 months. Devon was born with a congenital heart condition that he fought with great courage and character until his delicate heart could not carry on. A memorial service was held on November 5th at Attleborough Holy Trinity and also at Mt Horeb Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin, U.S.A on December 5th for the thanksgiving of Devon's life. The Steel and Schneider families would like to thank Ronald McDonald House, Birmingham Children Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice for all their support. Special thanks to Devalls Funeral Directors and Rev. Clive Jones for their compassion and support and also the love and prayers and support of so many people. Thank you all. An adored and cherished Son, Grandson and Nephew. Devon's beautiful smile will be forever in our hearts. Always. "Do not judge a song by its duration Nor by the number of it's notes Judge it by the way it touches and lifts the soul, Sometimes those unfinished are among the most beautiful And when something has enriched your life And when its melody lingers on in your heart Is it unfinished? Or is it endless..."
