John Thomas DixonSTEERJohn Steer, of Church, passed away on Monday, December 19 at Towneley House Care Home, Burnley. John was the dear husband of the late Joan, much loved dad of John and Janet, father-in-law to Maureen and Andrew, cherished grandad of Joanne and Louise, Nicola and Jon, great-grandad of Lawson, Seth, Artie and Orla and a good friend to all who knew him. John owned his own business as a Coal merchant and was well known in the community. He loved his garden and enjoyed his walks in the countryside with his family who were so important to him. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, January 4 at Accrington Crematorium at 10.20am. Family flowers only.
