Such devastating news, what a lovely gentleman Hans was, a person I will never ever forget! I had to pleasure of spending a little while with Hans who was very fond on helping me with my access to midwifery course, due to his background in paediatrics, we'd sit there and talk about it for hours over lemon tea and plenty of blueberries! Hans always shared such interesting life stories, I would learn something new every day! As I continue my midwifery journey I will carry all the information Hans passed on with me, What an honour it was knowing such a lovely man, and my thoughts go out to his family, which he always spoke so highly of x

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Hans was a good friend in the old Jesmond days and would come any hour of the day or night if our children were sick. He also babysat for us on the evening of Winston Churchill's funeral !! My best love to all the family, Sandra Robertson.

Worked with Hans from 1975 until 1988 when I was a secretary working at Northumberland health authority headquarters child health dept in Morpeth. He was such a lively man and a brilliant child health doctor who did so much for sick children throughout the North east. Rest in peace Hans Anne robinson
