Through misty tear-filled eyes I whispered my last goodbye to the one constant in my life.
A true confidant, a guiding hand and a shoulder to cry on.
Your stoicism, warmth and endearing smile I will always hold so dear.
Soon we will gather for one last farewell, yes to mourn, but also to celebrate a long life lived so well.
Thankyou for being you.
Thankyou for being my beautiful Mum.
Love you forever Paul xxxxx

To the best Mother in law ❤️
We have shared over 33 years of great memories with lots of laughter and a few tears …On our first meeting Ernest and you dusted down the Babycham from the pantry that was 20 years out of date 😅but we all drunk it and from that moment I knew we’d be friends for life ;I have early memories of our days out at the Grand National and many of our meals out together. You were a fantastic Mum to Paul and Grandma to Sam and Rosie I couldn’t ask for any one better to help raise my children and we did a great job ❤️—I know they meant the world to you - and in later years when they were off travelling I loved how we still met up at slug and lettuce and had our own cheeky Monday lunch club and we would share a bottle of Pinot I also introduced you to Expresso Martinis at the age of 88 years of age! We’d both take a slow walk back to the bus stop slightly staggering 😂Sheila’s Christmas trifle was a massive hit every Christmas Day with our family and will be a tradition that will live on — You never just don’t know what’s round the corner …but I’m sure it’s sunshine xx
