DorothySTEWARD(Tynemouth) Died peacefully on Sunday 18th August aged 82 years. Devoted wife of Brian, sister to Keith and the late John. Much loved mum to Ian and Alison and adored gran to Kate, Will, Grace and Alice. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Please meet at The Church of the Holy Saviour, Tynemouth, on Tuesday 3rd September at 12pm for a celebration of Dorothy's life and kindly wear something colourful. A private cremation service will take place before the church service. Family flowers only, donations in lieu can be made with great thanks to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. Dorothy was a lovely person and an excellent teacher.
For many years she led the Beaver Scout Colony in Tynemouth and gave many children ‘fun and friendship’.
Dorothy will be greatly missed.
