Donald McIntyre MbeSTEWARTIt is with deep sadness that we would like to announce that Don passed away peacefully on Friday the 8th of December at Scunthorpe General Hospital, aged 82 years old.

A loving husband to Hazel and a devoted dad to Heather, Elizabeth, Don and Callum, he will be sadly missed by all family members including thirteen grand-children and great grand-children.

Although a proud Scotsman, Don loved North Lincolnshire, his adopted home for nearly 60 years, and he was extremely proud to serve on local councils, committees, community groups and sports teams.

Thank you for your kindness, humour and some brilliant and cherished memories.

The funeral service will take place at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday the 21st of December at the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, Epworth, followed by a burial at Epworth Cemetery.

Family flowers only - donations welcome for Prostate Cancer UK and PDSA, his favourite charities and may be left at the service or sent c/o
