Saddened to hear this news. Syd was a true gentleman and wise counsel, my first boss when I started working life at Woodlands. He made a true positive and lasting impact on my life, for which I'll always be grateful. We were to lose touch over the years, until I discovered Syd was active on LinkedIn, in his 80s - respect! A man devoted to his wife and family...and golf! I remember him nipping round to the the golf club during his lunch break in the summer months to get some practice in - now there's a lesson in work-life balance! My sincere condolences to Karen, Alan and your families.
