JaniceSTEWARTIt is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jan in hospital on 22nd February, at the age of 69 years.
Jan was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret, a much-loved partner of Dave, a loving sister to James and Arthur, and a cherished sister-in-law and auntie. Jan was a dedicated and well-respected local teacher who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a service to celebrate Jan's life on Monday, 17th March at St Andrew & St George's URC Church, Yarm Lane at 1:30 pm, followed by a burial at Durham Road Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made on the day to the Heart & Lung Foundation and the Dog's Trust.
