GarySTEWARTSONGary died peacefully at Fernhill House Care Home, Bacup, on Sunday, June 20, aged 63. He leaves sisters Eileen, Pat and Doreen, several nieces and nephews and many friends. He loved his family and enjoyed socialising with them and friends. He loved dancing, singing and watching DVDs. In his adult life Gary attended Oakenhead Day Centre and then Hyndburn Day Centre until he was 60. There he made many friends. After that he received Shared Lives Day care with Tracey and Sheila and enjoyed spending time with them until going to live at Fern Hill House after developing dementia. The family wish to thank all who looked after and cared for Gary over the years. A service to Celebrate Gary’s life will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Wednesday, June 30, conducted by Neil Overton. The cortege will leave Knight & Boys funeral Home, Stacksteads at 10.10 on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only please. Donations to Fern Hill House Care Home if desired.
