BarrySTONEPassed away after a short illness aged 66 years.
Son of the late George and Clare, brother to Philip and the late Allyson and Valerie, uncle and great uncle to Hannah and Isla and also a great friend to many.
Barry was a commercial manager for Electricity Northwest in the Manchester area for many years until his early retirement to pursue his love for travel and photography. Being an avid cricket and rugby fan led to worldwide travel to watch many matches with his friends. Barry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington on Friday, February 2 at 3pm, leaving Hyndburn Funeral Service, Queens Road at 2.45pm for those who wish to follow Barry on his final journey.
Barry’s family have asked mourners not to wear black but dress smart casual and join them to celebrate him at the Peel Park on Turkey Street and raise a glass.
Family flowers only, donations to East Lancashire Hospice via Hyndburn Funeral Service or at Peel Park on the day.
