I first met Ryan when I moved to Beverley seven years ago and through our mutual love of wildlife, became good friends. Ryan's photographs of Barn Owls, Small Eared Owls, as well as his amazing pictures of Kingfishers on the Beckside are legendary. Ryan faced the stiffest challenge of his young life, with grit and determination and always with a ready smile. RIP Ryan

When I think or Ryan it’s that smile of his that is foremost in my mind. He had a smile to light up a room and brighten up any day.
Thinking of his friends and family
