Veronica MarySTORRIE(Known as May) Just as the May Trees come into blossom, our very own beloved May passed away on 7th May 2024, aged 89, in Southport and Formby District Hospital after a short illness.
She requested a direct cremation, followed by a family gathering later in the summer.
Fiercely independent to the very end, she was not connected to the digital world, but was more connected to family than anyone with a smart-phone or lap top via the forgotten art of letter writing.
She was the last in her sibling group, and has numerous nephews, nieces and cousins who will miss her frequent letters with news from around the family and newspaper cuttings of things she knew we would find of interest.
May perpetual light shine upon her. Let us remember her and keep her in our thoughts, which for anyone who ever met and spoke with her, will be easily done..........
