AlanSTRETTONIt is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alan Stretton who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday 16th October 2026 aged 83.
Alan was a devoted and much loved husband to Helen, a much loved dad to Kelly, step dad to Ian and father in law to Luke. A treasured grandad to Callum, Braidon and Jessie-Mae and a true friend to many. Alan will be greatly missed by all of those who loved and knew him.
Alan's funeral will take place on Friday 20th November 2026 at 10:30am in the Cedar Service Room at Bretby Crematorium.
It is requested family flowers only with donations in lieu sent to Swadlincote community nurses based at Heartwood medical practice.
