Jonathan EdwardSTRICKLANDJonathan Edward Strickland aged 38, tragically passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the morning of Friday 12th August in Zermatt, Switzerland. Loving and loyal husband to Sandra, devoted papa to Lenny, cherished son of Vivien and Robin and much loved brother to Rebecca. His kind heart, friendly smile and zest for life will be missed by everyone who knew him. A memorial service to celebrate Jonathan's life will be held at Hollygate Memorial Woodlands, Cotgrave on Tuesday 27th September at 2pm, followed by a wake at West Bridgford Rugby Club. I was so sorry to hear this news. Jonny and I were best pals at school, and I’ve got so many funny memories of us growing up together, especially early night outs in Nottingham!

He was such a genuinely nice, funny and caring lad and would do anything to help/support you.

My heartfelt and deepest sympathy to all
Jonny’s family.

Jonny was one of my best friends at school and although we didn’t speak too often in recent years as we both moved abroad, when we did it was like nothing had ever changed. A big, hilarious, bear of a man, who will be fondly remembered. A tragic loss and my deepest sympathy to his family.
