Passed away peacefully in the Freeman Hospital on 19th June 2026 aged 86 years.

Alfie, beloved Husband of Anne, much-loved Dad of Karen and David, cherished Father-in-law of Michelle and Colin, adored Grandad of Thomas, Lewis, Finley and Ethan, special Grandad-in-law of Hannah and a doting Great-Grandad of Louie, loving Brother of Pat and Gillian and a dearly loved Uncle, Brother-in-law and friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Monday 20th July 2026 at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Ward 9 at the Freeman Hospital via a collection as you leave the Crematorium.

We will miss and cherish you every single day. Words don't begin to explain how much we will miss you. Thank you for being an amazing Dad, Grandad and Father-in-law. You were truly one in a million.
We will carry all our memories of you, your smile and your laughter in our hearts forever. Life won't be the same without you, but we are so grateful for every moment we shared.
