Our sincere condolences to both Barbara and Sarah for their very sad loss.
Alex supported The RNLI and was a member of The RNLI Beverley Guild/Branch, together with Barbara. Performing with great enthusiasm, Alex fulfilled various roles within the Committee. He
was a very giving and caring person who devoted many hours to the charity and will be sadly missed, not only as a colleague but as a friend.
Our thoughts are with you,
from all the members of
RNLI Beverley Branch Committee

Alex was my sons form teacher for 2 years when he attended hymers
My son benefitted greatly from his chemistry teaching which skills he uses regularly in his job preparing contaminated land reports
He will be sorely missed

Dear Alex (a.k.a. Doc Sutton)
I had the very great honour & pleasure of being in the first form that he was Form Master of back in his 1st year at Hymers in 1962.
Always a gentleman and so professional in all that he did.
Also a very proficient squash player that I had the pleasure of playing against when he represented the Hymers Staff team in the local league, that I now run.
A great proponent of the Old Hymerians Association of which he was the 1st non Hymers attendee to be President of.
Travelled with him to many OH events of which he was also a regular supporter.
Very sincerest condolences to Barbara and Sarah.
A LOVELY man who will be greatly missed.
