JohnSWEENEYKings Norton, Birmingham, formerly of Wolverhampton and born in Irvinestown, CO Fermanagh, N. Ireland. Passed away suddenly in Sandwell General Hospital, surrounded by his family on 11th June 2022, aged 77. Beloved husband of the late Catherine, gone to be with her forever. Much loved father to Gemma, Sean, James, Tony and Kevin. Devoted grandad to Jennifer, Rosie, Joe, Jack, Conor and Liam. Survived by his sisters Theresa, Mary, Ann and Liz, brothers Laurence and James and predeceased by brothers Paddy and Joe. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. John will be received into St John Fisher Church, West Heath at 6pm on Thursday 14th July and funeral requiem mass will be held on Friday 15th July at 11.00am, followed by burial at 12.30pm in St Nicholas Church, The Green, Kings Norton. Refreshments afterwards at The Bulls Head, Kings Norton Green. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Wolves Foundation. All enquiries to Gascoigne Funeral Service. Tel 0121 458 5859

To my Uncle John, I had the pleasure of working with you for a number of years. We shared laughter, we shared tears, and we shared some good parties. I will miss your sense of humour and will raise a toast now you are reunited with Kath.
