MaureenSWEENEYOn 9th July 2023 Maureen sadly lost her fight to stay with the family that loved her so much. Born in Cardiff Docks in 1942 to John and Winnie Driscoll; adored wife of the late Danny; devoted Mum of Kim, Mark, Sally and Daniel; much loved mother-in-law; cherished Nannie to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; treasured sister, sister-in-law, Aunty Mo and a wonderful friend to many. Maureen was a bright star at the centre of her family; we will forever miss her love, friendship and mischief. We all feel so blessed to have been loved by her. Resting at Adams & Young Funeral Directors until the service at St John Lloyd Cardiff on Thursday 27th July 2023 at 11:45am followed by a committal service at Thornhill Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, can be given with thanks to Alzheimer's Society via the Funeral Directors.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Maureen, sister to our late parents, Mary (nee Driscoll) and Roy.
Although we hadn't kept in touch in recent years, we have fond memories of Auntie Maureen over The Docks, at Corpus Christi Parade, Nazareth House Fete and other family gatherings.
