Peacefully in Tranquillity Hospice, Atlanta, aged 47 years, loving husband of Jane Wilcox Swift, devoted father of daughter Caroline Sara Christina Swift, beloved son of Mr and Mrs Gerard Swift, of Marshside, Southport, beloved brother of Martin, sister in law Jeanette and uncle of Louise and Jonathan. A memorial service was held at Smyrna First United Methodist Church on Friday, November 7, 2008.
