If we could have done All the things we wanted to do, you would have lived forever. As God only knows. You were always thinking And bustling around, The way you carried on Your feet never touched the ground, So happy and carefree That's what you always were. Without a worry or even a care You loved life to the full. We were all so very proud of you, But God realised You couldn't go on forever. He offered a little prayer And took you into His care. We were so sorry to lose you When it was time for you to go. Only God knows how much we all loved you so So rest in heavenly peace now. One day we will all meet in paradise.
